Video Keno
Video Keno is an individual version of the regular casino game of Keno. It looks very much like a slot machine, but it is not quite the same.
Playing Video Keno
As in regular casino Keno, the object of the Video Keno game is to guess which numbers, between one and eighty will be selected by the Keno machine. The Keno machine always selects twenty numbers. The player is allowed to pick up to ten numbers. The player's aim is that all of the numbers s/he picks will be matched by the video machine. That is a video keno win.
The player places a bet using the BET buttons on the machine. Like regular slots, there is a BET ONE and a BET MAX. The BET MAX is usually for 3 or 4 coins or credits while the BET ONE is for one coin or credit only.
Select Video Keno Games
Once you have placed your bet, you choose between one to ten numbers by clicking on the desired number in the Keno board. You can change your mind and "deselect" the number by clicking on it a second time.
The next step in Video Keno is selecting how many games you would like to play consecutively using the same selected numbers. You can PLAY ONE, PLAY FIVE or PLAY TEN. There are separate buttons on the machine for choosing the number of games. Once any one of the PLAY ONE, FIVE OR TEN buttons is pressed, the game begins.
The computerized random generated numbers selected are shown by a Keno ball which lands on that particular number. If the number should also be one of your picks, it will flash bright yellow. You check how many "hits" you have made and then check the payout table for your winnings.
Video Keno is a Solo Game
Video Keno is a solo game - just the player and the Video Keno machine. For this reason it is much like playing slots. However, the enhanced graphics and sound to be found in the video machine puts the player into a Keno lounge atmosphere even when sitting alone. The same applies to online Video Keno. Although the player is at home, without casino distractions, his screen still offers him the sounds and sights of a keno casino.
